Not only was yesterday Halloween, but it was also my seventeenth birthday! I had such a wonderful day with my family and friends. My parents gifted me with a calligraphy set and wax letter seal. The inks are a marvelous rainbow of colors. I will have to find myself a pen pal!  (Halloweentown was literally my favorite movie.) October is my favorite month of the year; therefore, I'm quite disappointed to see it pass. The crisp autumn air is something that I will truly miss. However, I'm looking forward to the wonderful holiday season!
I have decided to start keeping a journal again. In the past, it was hard for me to write about myself. I've spent too much time thinking about personal experiences instead of writing about them. However, I'm determined to stay dedicated this time around. I'm currently quite busy promoting my novel and writing articles for the newspaper. It has been hard to focus on anything other than Fire & Ice! ~ Erin

All the best understudies in a single picture since they all are the top understudies of "Scio High School". These understudies are looking so great and even energetic for their future.
