Forests & Festivals

Hello, my lovely readers!

I hope that everyone has been having a wonderful month of April! The meadow in front of my house has been flourishing in the warm weather of spring, and I have been enjoying the return of green grass and wildflowers.
There are many days when I find that my college work seems to be taking over my schedule. It can be hard to find the time to unplug from the stress of student life; however, it is very important to take a moment to breathe in the fresh air of nature. In a world that dances in a haze of faded colors, we must always remember to take a walk in the forest.
As I drive myself mad with the terrifying thought of my first college presentation, my mind finds solitude on a few of the local hiking trails. Between the bustle of schoolwork and my author career, I'm starting to feel a bit like Alice in Wonderland.

I know that many of you have been anxiously awaiting the sequel to Fire & Ice: The Elementals. I'm happy to tell you that the writing process has been going smooth and I will be releasing more information in the month of July.
Below is a short playlist of a few songs that I listen to when I am writing the second book in the Fire & Ice series.

Fire & Ice Sequel Playlist

Vincent - Don McLean
Pretty Bird - Crooked Still
Thistled Spring - Horse Feathers
Land of the Living - Roo Panes
Emmylou - First Aid Kit
The Sea Song - The 502s
Mr. Tambourine Man - Bob Dylan
Albina - Horse Feathers
Nearly Old Friends - Horse Feathers
Violently Wild - Horse Feathers

NEWS:
I'm so excited to be one of the featured authors at Warwick Literary Festival! I will be signing copies of Fire & Ice: The Elementals and answering questions from my lovely readers. This event is open to the public and will be held at Albert Wisner Public Library in Warwick, NY.

April 30th, 2017 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

We hope to see you there!

I have to say that the list of the songs you had written above were all great. It simply makes me happy to see that we have a lot of similarities, that is why I couldn't help but see myself on you. Spring is also my favorite season and I usually spend time just to go out with my friends and see what it has to offer for me. The photos you uploaded were all great, as I may say!  "Land of the Living" by Roo Panes is also one of my favorite songs!
